Where the sharp books have priced a fixture, team goals are their de-vigged prices — we add no opinion of our own on top. But bookmakers only quote a week or two ahead, so the rest of the 19-gameweek horizon runs on our own xG model, and each fixture switches to the market the moment it is priced. The work is the conversion: prices into team goals, team goals into player points, player points into picks.
Every projection is frozen before the deadline and hashed, so it cannot be quietly edited afterwards. As each gameweek settles it is scored against what actually happened — hits and misses alike — on the Model Evaluation page. The log starts at GW1 and fills in weekly.
